Yes. All Cascade cabinetry is CARB compliant. CARB (the California Air Resources Board) sets laws that protect people and the environment against the harmful effects of formaldehyde, and all of our cabinetry meets that standard. Whether you are in California, New York, or just like to be environmentally conscious, we have you covered.

All Cascade cabinets are built from furniture and cabinet grade plywood. The face frames and doors are maple, oak, or birch. No particleboard is used anywhere in our cabinets.

The wood doors are built from maple, oak, birch, or MDF.

Both the doors and the frames are 3/4 inch thick.

All of our hinges open at least 120 degrees.

Although glue is not necessary, you can use any glue you like during assembly.

Yes. All reserve line cabinets are designed so you can choose the door swing during assembly. Wall cabinet frames are identical top to bottom, so you simply flip the entire cabinet so the door swings the way you want. For base cabinets, remove the hinges where they connect to the frame, flip the door, and reinstall the hinges on the opposite side.

Base cabinets have one half-depth adjustable shelf. Wall cabinets: 42 inch tall have 3 adjustable shelves, 30 to 36 inch tall have 2, and 12 to 18 inch tall cabinets use the cabinet floor as the shelving surface. Wall diagonal corner cabinets at 36 to 42 inches tall have 2 adjustable shelves.

You bet you can. We can usually get you a design, complete with layout and pictures, within about two business days.

The blind wall corner cabinet requires 27 inches of wall space, and it does not need to be pulled out from the wall.

Yes, they most certainly are. You can assemble and install them so the door faces either left or right.

Each individual cabinet includes a cut-to-size toe kick for assembly. Once the cabinets are installed, add the TK8 trim piece so you end up with a seamless toe kick across the run.

Yes, end panels are required.

RTA cabinets are new cabinets, packaged individually and ready for easy assembly on site. Each cabinet door comes preinstalled on the face frame. Wall cabinets assemble in 5 to 10 minutes and base cabinets in 10 to 15. Larger pieces such as lazy susans and oven cabinets take a little longer. Cabinets can also be delivered assembled for an additional charge.

Item numbers tell you almost everything you need for design. Wall cabinets start with W, then two digits for width and two for height (depth is a standard 12 inches). Base cabinets follow the same pattern with a B prefix and a standard depth.

Yes, normally you can. Keep in mind it can take a little while for us to pull and package your order, so you might want to grab lunch while you wait.

No. We recommend waiting until the new cabinets are received and inspected before starting demolition. Although rare, deliveries can be delayed or damaged in transit, and we do not want anyone without a working kitchen longer than necessary.

Delivery is priced by location, so contact us for an accurate estimate.

Damage is rare (currently under a 2 percent rate), but if it happens: accept the shipment and note the damage on the delivering agent’s paperwork, then email us a photo of the damaged part along with your name, shipping address, order number, and the item number. We will do everything possible to get you taken care of quickly.
